Tata Motors, India's largest automaker, rolled out the one millionth Tata Punch, India's first subcompact SUV, from its Pune production site. The Tata Punch was the first SUV to reach this milestone within ten months, establishing a new standard for the industry. It was one of the most popular SUVs in their “New Forever’ lineup, and thanked its customers for their continued confidence and support, without whom this would not have been possible. Adding the Punch was the second vehicle based on their ALFA architecture and the four pillars of a real SUV: Stunning design, Versatility combined with an engaging performance, roomy and spacious interiors, and safety.
Since its introduction in 2021, Tata Punch has been recognised for its distinctive look (it looks like a mini-Harrier), especially from the front. Based on the ALFA platform, it offers up a substantial amount of cabin room, a huge plus in this class. The platform also provides for a comfortable drive. Its cabin is tough and helps prevent passengers from feeling the bumps on the road, a blessing on some Indian roads. The Punch offers a variety of solutions at various price ranges, appealing to a broad range of consumer preferences. In July of 1922, 11,002 units of punch were the most ever sold.
