PMI Electro Mobility delivers its 1,000th electric bus in India.

New Delhi February 8, 2023:PMI Electro Mobility, India's largest electric bus company, delivered its 1,000th electric bus under the FAME II scheme to the Directorate of Transport, Uttar Pradesh. This achievement makes PMI the first company in India to deliver 1,000 electric buses and strengthens its leadership in the electric bus market. Each PMI electric bus can save 28,000 kg of CO2 every year, reducing the overall carbon footprint of the 1,000 e-bus fleet. PMI's e-buses run across 26 cities in India, equipped with safety systems and provisions to offer reliable and comfortable transportation. PMI has a manufacturing plant in Dharuhera, Haryana and is setting up another in Pune, Maharashtra. The company also has a battery assembly plant operated by women employees and developed electric bus depots with a capacity of 44 MW.

Hon'ble Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Hon’ble MoS of Heavy Industries flagged off PMI's 1,000th electric bus.

Commenting on the delivery of the 1,000th electric bus, Mr Naga Satyam, Director, PMI Electro Mobility, said, “PMI Electro Mobility was established with the objective of helping India achieve clean mobility and we are actively contributing to the country’s journey towards sustainability. We are proud to become the first manufacturer to deliver 1,000 electric buses in the country, providing an increasing number of people with the option of environment-friendly public transportation system. This is a testament to our manufacturing and technological prowess, and is reflective of our commitment to developing a robust electrified public transportation system in India. With this 1000th milestone achieved, PMI Electro Mobility will be looking forward to making further contributions towards a greener future through upcoming projects.”
