February 22, 2023: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is addressing one of the biggest concerns of electric vehicle (EV) customers - charging points - in Mumbai and its suburbs. Setting up charging stations near autorickshaw stands, auto driver home clusters, and junctions can certainly help improve the convenience and accessibility of charging for EV customers.

It's also positive that Mahindra is installing chargers at its own outlets and Mitra Technician spots, making it easier for customers to charge their 3-wheelers. This approach can help improve the overall charging infrastructure and reduce range anxiety for EV owners.

Furthermore, the training of over 60 mechanics by LMM’s service personnel to handle Mahindra 3-wheeler EVs is a step in the right direction for the adoption of EVs in the region. Having a trained workforce can help increase customer confidence and promote the growth of the EV market.

Overall, these efforts by Mahindra Last Mile Mobility are important in promoting the adoption of electric 3-wheelers in Mumbai and its suburbs, and it's promising to see that additional charging spots are being identified and installed in strategic locations. The charging points have been positioned in Malad, Kandivali, Mira Road, Navi Mumbai, Vasai, Virar and Andheri.
