CEAT has recently launched several initiatives in the EV tyre business. The company has launched India's first EV-specific tyres for cars, called EnergyDrive. These tyres are designed to offer high wear resistance, lower rolling resistance, and a longer tyre life, making them ideal for use in electric vehicles. CEAT has also launched tyres specifically designed for electric buses and two-wheelers, demonstrating its commitment to supporting sustainable transportation.

The MG Comet is a sleek and stylish electric vehicle that meets the needs of modern-day consumers. As an EV, the vehicle requires specific tyre characteristics that CEAT can provide.  CEAT’s EV tyres feature the DuraBlock technology that improves tangential and lateral stiffness by 6% compared to the current summer pattern to withstand instant high torque.

Furthermore, it’s EasyFlex Cavity design helps in lowering Rolling Resistance to a significant level which helps in achieving better mileage.

As the electric vehicle market continues to grow in India, CEAT is proud to be at the forefront of innovation in this space. With their partnership with MG Motors, CEAT is showcasing their expertise in providing high-quality and performance-oriented tyre solutions for electric vehicles.
